On a recent trip to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and Industry we made a pretty cool tower using the foam blocks in the water works area. Pretty soon, I’ll publish the cool video we took as we made it. Plus, I have lots of additional photos from our day at the museum.
This museum is a fantastic place to take the kids! They have so many great exhibits and best among them is the Children’s Museum.
Some of the permanent exhibits are:
- World Trade Center Beam — there’s a steel beam from the Word Trade Center in the lobby
- Fort Worth Children’s Museum — one of the best I’ve seen in my travels around the country
- DinoLabs and DinoDig — You can dig for dinosaur bones and see a huge skeleton of an extinct dinosaur
- Cattle Raisers Museum — A huge exhibit about the history of the cattle industry
- Energy Blast — This is an interactive exhibit showing the regional energy and alternative energy resources
